Unnecessary foods

Foods to Avoid

In the past several decades, we have become so far removed from nature that some foods are man-made and actually toxic to the body. Here are some foods to avoid altogether. Of course, they are made to be addictive, so treat the removal as you would treat an addiction. Because most of your Serotonin and Dopamine is produced in the gut, instead of food being medicine, it can also be a drug.

Packaged Foods

Packaged foods are typically high in sodium and artificial flavors, which raise LDL cholesterol and destroy gut biomes which reduces your body's ability to digest. Those labeled "low in fat" or "low in sugar" are typically altered with a lot of additives that are indigestible and cause inflammation. 

Processed Meats

Processed meats like salami, bacon, deli meat, sausage, and hot dogs are rich in nitrates, a chemical additive that have been directly linked to cancer and have 400% more sodium and 50% more preservatives than regular meat. It is also designed to be addictive.

Soda

Soda is full of sugar with little nutrients and no fiber. The average can contains 10 teaspoons of sugar, which is more than the recommended 6-9 teaspoons daily supply.

Foods with preservatives

Foods with preservatives like BHT and BHA cause hormonal imbalance and lead to cancer. BHA can disrupt endocrine, which can alter the size of your ovaries and their ability to produce certain hormones. BHT is known to cause a decline in motor skills and lung and liver tumors. The processing of food increases the amount of glycogen. Also, the preservative called Propylparaben, typically in corn tortillas and baked goods, because this chemical acts like Estrogen, which can cause infertility and ac

Fried Foods

Fried foods are cooked to the point where the nutrients of the  are stripped and all that is left are the heavy fats that cause weight gain.

Fructose

Children only have the ability to metabolize 12g of fructose per day. Adults can consume about 6g, or 6 teaspoons. Excess amounts of dietary fructose causes inflammation that could lead to insulin resistance, which reduces the capacity for Glucose to convert food into energy. Fructose, on the other hand, is the primary driver of ADHD and Depression. All food should protect the liver, feed the gut, and support the brain. Fructose does none of this and can even reduce Serotonin.
